The CG-LOK Hose Unit Dry Disconnect Coupling is the moving half of a dry break connection, fitted to the hose or loading arm and carrying the operating handles. It mates with a CG-LOK tank unit to give a connection that seals on both sides before it parts, so product does not spill and vapour does not escape when the line is broken. The female threaded version connects directly to BSPP or NPT piping and hose tails, which suits most road tanker, drum and process transfer setups.
Key Features
• Hose side (TH) unit with operating handles, designed to mate with a CG-LOK tank unit
• Bidirectional sealing so both halves close before separation, preventing spillage and vapour release
• Female thread connection in BSPP ISO 228 or NPT, sizes 1″, 2″, 2½”, 3″, 4″, 6″ and 8″
• Built to NATO STANAG 3756, giving compatibility with most established dry disconnect brands
• Available in stainless steel 1.4408, aluminium or brass to suit the media and pressure

How It Works
Operation is a two-stage turn that keeps the valves shut until the connection is secure. Turning the hose unit 15 degrees clockwise locks the two units together while both valves stay closed. Turning a further 90 degrees opens the internal valves and allows flow. Reversing the sequence closes the valves before the units separate, so product is contained on both sides at the moment of disconnection.
Applications
Road tanker and rail car loading and unloading, chemical and solvent transfer, fuel and petroleum handling, and IBC and drum filling at chemical plants, tank farms and terminals in Pasir Gudang, Port Klang, Kerteh, Gebeng, Kuantan, Bintulu and Labuan.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a hose unit and a tank unit?
The hose unit (TH) fits on the hose or loading arm and carries the operating handles, so it is the half the operator turns. The tank unit (TU) is fixed to the tank, vessel or pipework and stays in place. A complete dry disconnect connection needs one of each.
Will CG-LOK couplings connect to other dry disconnect brands?
They are designed to NATO STANAG 3756, which makes them compatible with most established dry disconnect couplings. Confirm the size and standard of your existing units with Flytech before ordering so the match is verified.
Which body material should I choose?
Stainless steel 1.4408 gives the highest working pressure at 25 bar and the widest chemical resistance. Brass sits at 16 bar and aluminium at 10 bar, both at lower cost. Match the material to your media, pressure, and any hazardous area requirement.
