OUR PRODUCTS PTFE Tubing

PTFE Tubing

Virgin PTFE tubing rated -200°C to +260°C with near universal chemical resistance, for analyser, sample and chemical transfer lines. Anti static grades available.

Flytech supplies PTFE tubing for chemical, analyser and high purity lines. PTFE resists very nearly every industrial chemical, holds up from cryogenic temperatures to +260°C, and has the lowest coefficient of friction of any solid, so product does not cling to the bore. That combination makes it the tube of choice where stainless steel would corrode and plastic tubing would soften or contaminate.

The bore does not absorb moisture and does not support bacterial growth, which matters in analyser and sample lines where a small amount of carryover between samples ruins a reading. For fluids that generate static in flow, an anti static grade with carbon filling is available so charge is dissipated rather than accumulating in the tube wall.

PTFE tubing differs from Flytech’s PTFE hose. Tubing is rigid, small bore and terminated with compression fittings for instrument and analyser work. PTFE hose is a flexible reinforced assembly for higher pressure transfer duty. Both are stocked, so tell us the pressure and routing and the right one will be specified.

Key Features
• Virgin PTFE with near universal chemical resistance, including acids, solvents and caustics
• Temperature range of roughly -200°C to +260°C, far beyond other plastic tubing
• Lowest coefficient of friction of any solid, so the bore stays clean and free flowing
• Does not absorb moisture and does not support bacterial growth, suited to analyser and sample lines
• Anti static grade with carbon filling available for fluids that generate static charge

Why Choose Flytech
Flytech Engineering has supplied industrial fluid transfer products in Malaysia since 1999, under ISO 9001:2015. Alongside tubing we stock instrumentation tube fittings, tube to tube fittings, valves and clamps, plus hose, stainless steel braided assemblies and couplings, so one order covers the tube and everything that terminates it. Ready stock in Klang, Selangor, with delivery nationwide including Kerteh, Kemaman, Gebeng, Pasir Gudang, Penang, Bintulu and Labuan, plus worldwide export. Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between PTFE tubing and PTFE hose?
PTFE tubing is rigid small bore tube terminated with compression fittings, used for instrument, analyser and chemical dosing lines. PTFE hose is a flexible assembly with braid or wire reinforcement for higher pressure transfer. Flytech stocks both, so specify your pressure and routing and the correct product will be supplied.

Is PTFE tubing suitable for food contact?
PTFE is chemically inert and widely used in food, beverage and pharmaceutical service. Confirm the specific grade and any certification you require when ordering so the correct material is supplied.

Why choose anti static PTFE tubing?
Some fluids generate static charge as they flow. Standard PTFE is an insulator, so that charge can accumulate. Carbon filled anti static PTFE conducts the charge away, which matters in flammable and explosive atmosphere service.
