The Stainless Steel Hose (Sanitary) is built for hygienic service, corrugated stainless hose, typically SS316, finished with sanitary tri-clamp (ferrule) ends that clamp to hygienic piping in seconds and strip down just as fast for cleaning. It handles the hot CIP/SIP cycles, steam and product temperatures that plastic and rubber sanitary hose struggle with. Sanitary clamp connections are also used in data centre cooling. Current liquid cooling assemblies are commonly built with a sanitary clamp on the equipment side and an ANSI 150 or PN16 flange on the pipework side, so a coolant distribution unit or rack manifold can be disconnected in seconds without breaking a bolted joint or handling gaskets beside live IT equipment. The same clamp design that suits hygienic transfer suits this duty for the same underlying reason: it makes and breaks quickly, cleanly and without tools.
