APPLICATION:
Hard wall hose, flexible, used for heavy-duty suction and discharge of oil, fuel, and petroleum from tankers to barge, bunkering services, and industrial applications with aromatic content up to 50%, excluding oils with Esther base.
TUBE:
The tube of the hose is made from a special NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) compound. It is black in color and is specifically designed to be resistant to fuel.
COVER:
The cover of the hose is made from a blend of NBR compound. It is also black in color and offers resistance to oil, abrasion, and weather conditions. This means it can withstand exposure to various oils, withstand abrasion from external factors, and remain durable in different weather conditions.
REINFORCEMENT:
The hose is reinforced with multiple layers of high-tensile synthetic cord. This provides strength and durability to the hose, allowing it to withstand pressure and maintain its structural integrity. Additionally, the hose is supported with a helix wire, which further enhances its strength.
Embedded with antistatic copper wire:
The hose has an antistatic copper wire embedded within it. This helps to dissipate any static electricity that may build up during use, reducing the risk of sparks or other electrical hazards.
TEMPERATURE RANGE:
The hose is designed to operate within a temperature range of -20°C to +100°C. It can function effectively in temperatures as low as -20°C and as high as +100°C.
SAFETY FACTOR:
The safety factor of 3:1 indicates that the hose is designed to handle pressures up to three times its maximum working pressure. This provides an additional margin of safety and ensures the hose can withstand the specified pressure without failure.
