Stainless Steel Hose (Steam Union)

Corrugated SS304/SS316 braided hose with steam union (ground joint) ends for saturated and superheated steam service. Ready stock in Malaysia.

The Stainless Steel Hose (Steam Union) is the steam-line specialist. It pairs corrugated SS304/SS316 braided hose finished with ground-joint steam unions, the fitting built for repeated make-and-break on live steam service. Unlike rubber steam hose, the all-metal construction shrugs off superheated steam and won’t degrade from popcorning or heat ageing.

Key Features
• Ground-joint steam union ends built for repeated connection on steam service
• All-metal SS304/SS316 construction, no rubber to heat-age or popcorn
• Handles saturated and superheated steam beyond rubber hose limits
• Corrugated tube flexes to absorb thermal movement on steam lines
• Hydrostatic test with official certificate available

Applications
Steam supply to processing equipment, sterilisers, tank heating coils and steam-cleaning stations at palm oil mills, refineries, food plants and factories across Malaysia.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why use stainless steel hose instead of rubber steam hose?
Rubber steam hose is limited in temperature and degrades over time from heat. An all-metal SS304/SS316 hose handles saturated and superheated steam continuously, lasting far longer on hot duty.
