The Interlocking Metal Hose is formed from a profiled stainless steel strip, wound and mechanically interlocked into a rugged flexible tube. Where corrugated hose is built for pressure, strip-wound hose is built for punishment: crush resistance, abrasion and very high temperature. That makes it the choice for exhaust ducting, hose and cable protection, and conveying abrasive solids.
Key Features
• Strip-wound interlocked construction, crush-resistant and mechanically tough
• Withstands very high temperatures, well beyond rubber or PTFE
• SS304 for general duty; SS316 for corrosive and marine environments
• Optional packing between strips for dust and granular leak resistance
• Cut to length and terminated to order
Applications
Engine and generator exhaust, furnace and foundry ducting, protective conduit over hoses and cables, and abrasive granular conveying at steel mills, glass and cement works across Malaysia.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is interlocking metal hose pressure-tight?
No. Strip-wound hose is built for mechanical strength, heat and abrasion rather than pressure containment. For pressure-tight gas or liquid service, use a corrugated braided stainless hose instead.
